Arts therapies are an established psychological clinical intervention delivered by Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Registered Arts Therapists help people whose lives have been affected by injury, illness or disability through supporting their psychological, emotional, physical, communicative and social needs.
The umbrella term ‘arts therapies’ includes different professions: music therapy, art psychotherapy and dramatherapy.
Arts therapies are evidence-based psychological therapies.
Arts Therapists are registered health professionals through the HCPC.
