  • Best Bar None Award Scheme - The Best Bar None scheme aims to promote positive relations and responsible management in the operation of licensed premises in Scotland.  The scheme is sponsored by Diageo, Molson Coors, Heineken, Tennents and Maxxium.  The scheme is being offered throughout the whole of the Scottish Borders to pubs, bars, clubs or hotels that can demonstrate a commitment to a safer and more secure environment for the public.

  • Local Licensing Forum - Scottish Borders Local Licensing Forum role is to offer advice and scrutiny of Scottish Borders Licensing Board.
  • ScotPHO Alcohol Profile - This online tool provides access to in-depth information on each alcohol indicator with interactive and area comparison.
  • Smart Recovery UK - SMART Recovery is a programme of peer support for people who are newly drug/alcohol free. The programme uses evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy.  
  • WithYou Borders - WithYou Borders provides support for people using alcohol, drugs and other substances and works with them to develop a plan for their recovery.
