The Children and Young People’s Planning Partnership (CYPPP) is the multi-agency strategic decision-making forum for Children and Young People’s services in Scottish Borders which currently meets monthly.
The forum makes sure that everyone follows important Scottish Goverment agreements—like The Promise, GIRFEC (Getting It Right for Every Child), and the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child)—to keep children safe, happy, and supported. The forum helps make sure that children and young people in the Scottish Borders who are in care, or have been in care, are looked after properly.
The CYPPP are committed to using their collective resources to create a plan to deliver the best possible services they can, for children and young people, working with the following vision:
‘Working together we will ensure all children and young people have a sense of belonging, self-worth and self-confidence to achieve their own unique potential’.
