Psychological Services – Readiness for Therapy
Is This the Right Time for You?
You don’t need to have it figured out yet, but here are some things to think about.
At your assessment, your psychological professional will talk with you about whether therapy is the right next step.
Questions to Consider
- Is now the right time?
- Am I ready to try new ways of thinking and behaving?
- Am I willing to reflect on past or current experiences?
- Am I open to talking about my thoughts and emotions?
- Can I commit to regular sessions (often weekly)?
- Do I feel safe enough to work through difficult feelings?
We offer a range of psychological therapies and will work in partnership with you to find the best fit for your goals.
Therapy can be challenging but we’ll work through this together.
Psychological therapy can be very rewarding but is a big commitment. If now isn’t the right time, together we can think about other options that might fit better, or we can see you when you feel ready.
