CAMHS is a service for children and young people up to the age of 18 who are experiencing persistent, complex, or severe mental health difficulties. This includes a range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological issues that significantly impact day-to-day life. CAMHS also has a role in the assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD, when possible NDD impacts has a functional impact on the young person day to day and/or associated with other mental health disorder. We have a role in the ongoing treatment of ADHD.
