    • Junior doctor
    • Middle-grade
    • Senior 
  • Today in this ward:
    • Ward round times
    • Any interim meetings / catch-up / planned breaks
    • Nurse in charge and where to find them 
  • The escalation process in this area today is:
    • Who to call and how to contact them (eg. bleep / mobile) 
  • The process for documenting patient notes is:
    • Eg TRAK / Paper notes in folders by beds or in trolley 
  • Explain where the following things are:
    • **COVID-19 PPE**
    • Patients notes and stationary (eg. drug kardexes / unitary )
    • Doctor’s office / any other computers designated for doctors
    • Bloods tubes / cannulas / culture bottles / ABG syringes
    • ECG machine
    • The emergency trolley / resus trolley
    • Toilets
    • Fire escape 
  • The following jobs on this ward today will be performed by (eg. junior or senior doctor / nurse / phlebotomist etc):
    • Bloods / Cannulas / ECG / Catheter insertion
    • Patient admission / clerking / senior review / discharge process 
  • On the ward round please note oxygen requirements, place updated oxygen sticker in notes, and update the laminated oxygen form on the wall
