The Unit has 6 Consultant Obstetricians with medical staff at Registrar and Foundation Year 2 levels. There is an experienced team of Midwives who are well supported by Midwifery Care Assistants (MCAs), ward clerkesses and medical secretaries. The maternity unit also involves both midwifery and medical students in all aspects of care.
