Mindfulness –1 Day Workshop
Find out about mindfulness and the benefits that being mindful can bring to your day to day life. Try out guided exercises, meditations and small group discussions; giving you a chance to try out mindfulness practices for use in daily life at work and at home.

Developing Personal Resilience - 1 day course
Feel under pressure to deliver at work? Work/life balance pressures?
Developing Personal Resilience is suitable for anyone who has to cope with the gradual build-up of the many pressures experienced in work, at home and in everyday life.
Resilience is the ability to recover quickly from setbacks and adversity. Resilient people stay committed and increase their efforts when the going gets tough. It used to be thought that people were born with resilient attributes; we now know that anyone can improve their resilience through effective training and development.

The aim of this one day course is to help you gain the skills and confidence to lead safe, short, local health walks. The course is free of charge. You will receive a Walk Leader certificate and become registered as a Qualified Walk Leader for Walk It and join the Scottish Database of certified walk leaders

Cookery participation demonstrations
Learn how to cook up some healthy, quick, nutritious dishes using fresh ingredients to help you eat well. Can’t cook, won’t cook? Whatever it is, the team will have you cooking some meals to take home from a delicious risotto to the classic omelette.
There are two workshops available with 12 spaces on each. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis:
