Borders Community Action has launched the next round of funding for the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.
The fund focuses on prevention and early intervention and aims to support grassroots community groups in tackling mental health inequalities and addressing priority issues of social isolation, loneliness, suicide prevention and tackling poverty and inequality.
They are looking to fund community based initiatives that promote and develop good mental health and wellbeing and/or mitigate and protect against the impact of distress and mental ill health within the adult population (aged 16 or over).
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲:
- Suicide prevention.
- Loneliness and isolation.
- Poverty and inequality.
- Resilience building.
