Scottish Borders CHIMES Service, Action for Children
The service provides support to:
- Young carers
- Children and young people (all ages) impacted by a family members alcohol and/or drug use
- Concerned Others
- Parents with concerns about their drug/alcohol use including expectant parents
The service is providing contact to children, young people and parents via home visits, school visits, cafes and community centres or at an agreed meeting place in the community. All other consultations are by agreement and include contact by telephone, text, email and video calls via Microsoft Teams.
