Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs are now able to post naloxone kits to family members via an online registration: www.sfad.org.uk/takehomenaloxoneregistration.  This has been made possible, of course, by the recent Lord Advocate’s ruling on supply.

Naloxone is a medication which is used to temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose allowing time for emergency services to attend.

Naloxone is also available for people who use drugs from We are with you (formally Addaction), NHS Borders Addictions Service and Injecting Equipment Providers within Community Pharmacies.
