Making an appointment:

Doctor and Practice Nurse consultations are available by appointment. To arrange an appointment please telephone the Health Centre on 01896 848333 or come into Reception.

Out of hours: NHS 24 on 111

All week day calls between 18:00 and 08:00 and all day Saturday and Sunday are dealt with by the Out of Hours service, contact NHS 24 on telephone number 111, who will either give advice or put you in touch with the duty doctor based at the Borders General Hospital. The doctor will then either give further advice, arrange for you to attend the Borders General Hospital or organize a home visit. An answer phone gives the number of the Out of Hours service if you ring the surgery out of hours.

Home visits:
We ask that if a patient is housebound or too ill to come to the surgery that a visit is requested before 10:00 if possible.

Repeat prescriptions:
If you require a repeat prescriptions please allow 3 working days. Please use the drug names on the re-order slip, either tick drugs required and post in box in reception or use the dedicated 24 hours phone line (848343).

We aim to provide high quality personal care. Should you be unhappy with our service in any way or have suggestions for improvement, please either use the suggestions box located in the waiting room or contatc our Practice Manager who will be happy to help you.
