Who are V1P?
V1P is staffed by a combination of people with military experience and healthcare professionals.
We support physical health and psychological well-being.
We are here to listen to you and offer individually tailored support based on your needs.
We also provide a one-stop source of information and signposting to other services where appropriate.
Veterans F1rst Point is Unique
A one-stop-shop providing information and practical support for Veterans.
Who is a Veteran?
If you have served for more than one day in the military, territorials, reserves or merchant navy (in support of Military operations) then you are a Veteran.
V1P is a service designed by Veterans for Veterans

How does it work?
Contact us to arrange to meet with one of our veteran peer support workers to discuss how we may be able to help you.
You will be invited to a registration where we can explore further the areas you wish to improve on and we will work with you to obtain the right support.
We also run drop-ins in the Borders for Veterans to meet up in a safe and informal environment to encourage peer support and broaden social networks.
