'Quit Your Way' with the Wellbeing Service

The Wellbeing Service delivers the Quit Your Way which provides one to one support for people, aged 12 years and over, trying to stop smoking. Our advisers can tailor how they support you and help you develop an action plan.

Help to stop smoking

We know it's hard to stop smoking for many reasons. It's not just a matter of deciding to do it - sometimes there are other things that can make it difficult to cut cigarettes our of your life. And sometimes you need more than just willpower to make sure you can stick to a smoke-free life.

Our services are free and delivered by trained advisers. Our experience has shown that having a knowledgeable and qualified person to give you support and using a product such as nicotine replacement therapy (e.g. nicotine patches, inhalators or gum) means that you are four times more likely to succeed in stopping smoking.

All of our advisers can prescribe nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) - e.g. nicotine patches, inhalators or gum.

Pharmacy Services

Community pharmacies and chemists can also offer one to one support. Following an initial assessment appointment with the pharmacist you will be invited to attend for regular sessions of Stop Smoking Support.

If you would like to know more about what is available in your local area please contact the Wellbeing Service and we can help you decide which support is best for you.
