The Lived Experience Forum will give people with lived and living experience a voice so that they have the ability to be involved and help inform the work of the ADP. The forum would provide input to the ADP on their overall strategy, evaluation of local services and in doing so will help to inprove services and the outcomes of people who use them.
The forum is open to anyone who wishes to attend who has lived or living experience of drugs or alcohol use including family members.
The ADP is responsible for:
- Ensuring there is the correct range of drug and alcohol services available in the Borders
- Making the decisions on how the funding from the Scottish Goverment will be spent
- Implementing drug and alcohol strategies
- Communicating the impact of activities to service users and the public
