If you have a permanent address in our area you are able to register at the Surgery. You will need to come to the surgery with identification and proof of address. We will give you a reason if we are unable to register you.
Temporary Registration
You can register as a temporary patient for up to 3 months. This system allows you to be seen locally without being removed from the list of your permanent GP. If, however, you are in the area for longer than 3 months you will have to re-register as a temporary resident or register permanently with the practice. You cannot register as a temporary resident with a GP in the area in which you are already permanently registered.
If you are ill and away from home, or if you are not registered with a GP you can receive emergency treatment for up to 14 days.
