About the programme
Some patients who have underlying health conditions, certain lifestyle factors or are undergoing surgery may be at higher risk from certain diseases. These patients may require vaccination outside of routine programmes.
The clinician or service treating a patient will decide which vaccinations a patient requires and must refer the patient to NHS Borders Vaccination Service.
Where clinics take place
Clinics take place in Galashiels Health Centre on a weekly basis.
Once a referral has been received, NHS Borders Vaccination Hub will make contact with a patient to book an appointment.
